Is this the last virtual meeting?

After such a successful October meeting we decided to add a November meeting to the 2021 schedule and we weren’t disappointed. We had 11 members join including a number of new faces.

With no guest speaker this month we spent the full meeting sharing stories and catching up with one another. As always the conversation flowed and touched on many topics. Long term and ongoing side effects are always on the agenda and it was really insightful to hear how people have managed their symptoms, and gave some members new ideas to try. It was also particularly nice to see some members catching up – at least virtually – after supporting each other through their respective treatments some time ago. The group feels like a real community and the support is amazing.

While we are hopeful that we can meet face to face in December it is fantastic that zoom has enabled so many of us to connect from wherever we are. Some members had already headed out of town for holidays but were still able to join the meeting and participate.
